Stephanie Moseley seemed to have it all. The 30-year-old “Hit the Floor” actress and dancer was shot to death by her husband, rapper Earl Hayes who then turned the gun on himself early Monday.
Moseley was fond of posting endless pictures of cash, jewelry, high end handbags, designer shoes and Diamond encrusted watches on her social media pages.
Moseley flaunted the trappings of success that her envious social media followers could only dream about.
But in reality, most of Moseley’s riches were gifts, borrowed, or on loan to her from her well-to-do friends such as boxer Floyd Mayweather, who signed Hayes to a recording contract.
Moseley’s grieving family created a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for her funeral. The NY Post reports that $7,215 in donations has been raised so far.

“Stephanie Moseley represented the very best in all of us, and always did it in beat and with a smile,” read a summary on the site. “The world lost an amazing talent, and heaven gained an angel.”
The money raised will “be given to Stephanie’s family to serve as an immediate resource during this difficult time,” says the site.
On Tuesday, news broke of the Los Angeles murder-suicide, which was witnessed via FaceTime by the couple’s friend Floyd Mayweather.
“Stephanie was an absolute angel,” Eva Marcille told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday. “She’s brought so many of these people into my life, connected so many people together. She’s just loved. She will never, ever, ever, ever, be forgotten.”The former “Next Top Model” beauty says she was not aware of any marital problems that would escalate to this.
“Everyone has their problems, but if you’re asking if anyone knew that something would come to this, hell no … I thought it was a lie when I got the phone call,” she added.

But it could be the banks for frozen their accounts because they are dead. If there is not a POD , Paid on Death, set up on the account the banks will freeze it until an Executor is set up for their estate. If they died without a will, then you have to wait 30 days before you can go to court to do that…at least in VA you do

I read somewhere that she was a Devil Girl in season one. I don’t know why TMZ keeps refering to her as the star of Hit The Floor. Basically she was a kept woman like Coochie except she could dance and get work from time to time.
you can do something simple. go to your bank and put your mom, dad, husband, anybody name on your account so if you die tomorrow, they can get your money. now the question is, do you want them to have it? Me personally im not so sure ppl would use it for my funeral expenses.

I had one and my son has 2.
My dad gave me mine and I put it in my sons name.
I’ve had and paid for life insurance, since i was 18.
You know how many fish and chicken fries I done, helped with or contributed to, to bury someone. I think that is so embarrassing.
When my fathers sister died; her kids done got her the best of the best and chit; funeral director would not open the doors (to the viewing room) cause they owed 6k! My dad had to charge that chit; on the spot!

She had breast cancer. She fought for two years though. She died at the end of September so I had to spend Breast Cancer Awareness month grieving her death…dont’ get me wrong I’m am thrilled for the survivors but man was I bitter my mother lost her fight.

my family just not good at doing the right thing. I dont know where we went wrong, but when my grandmother died in 2000, she didnt get her name plot until 3 or 4 years later bc my mom and sister, who she left money to, went and bought houses, clothes, etc and didnt bother to get her name plot so when we went to see her, we never had an exact location of her body. SMH till this day

As a lady making the transition from 2 incomes to 1 I feel his pain. It’s just hard to do it all. You gotta pick and choose. At least he had some of it praise God. My baby ain’t having Christmas this year and she’s going to have to be ok with that. I would want my beneficiary (Mama Butter) to have it, but not all at once. I love my mom, but I know she does not do well with money management. I had to setup a trust that allows a lump sum when Lil Butter reaches certain ages/milestones and a monthly allowance. Mama Butter ball out for a good five years and go back to the way things were

She was one of the dancers in Hit the Floor, although the media keeps referring to her as an actress on the show. She was a beautiful girl and I wonder what made her get with this guy to begin with. A honest question was bought up about her looks. If she was not the standard beauty in the industry. Would the media keep referring or her as an actress and such? Would her title read backup dancer in the Hit the Floor show? Looks have a lot to do with how people are presented and how their misfortunes are covered. I believe every human life is precious no matter who they are. You keep hearing folks talk about how beautiful she was as if that has anything to do with her misfortune.
