Former child star Raven-Symone, left, will appear as a lesbian in an upcoming episode of popular ABC sitcom “Black-ish.”
That’s a not a stretch for Raven-Symone who is in a longterm lesbian relationship with former America’s Top Model contestant AzMarie Livingston.
Raven shared an Instagram photo revealing how she will look in character wearing a long black wig to cover her butch shaved mohawk haircut. She poses in the photo will all-natural makeup artist Nadyne Hicks.
Keeping in line with other prime time TV shows that include characters with alternative lifestyles, ABC cast Raven as Rhonda, the uptight lesbian sister of Dre (Anthony Anderson), who is uncomfortable talking about her proclivities for women.
She will appear in an episode titled “Please Don’t Ask, Please Don’t Tell.”
Raven grew up in front of America’s eyes as a precocious young star in “The Cosby Show,” “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper” and “That’s So Raven.”
