I had a friend who was a personal trainer – he went to school and after had to do actual PT work to get certified and you have to keep going back for certifications – it varies by state but technically you are not supposed to use the title PT unless you’ve completed the course and been certified – its like some ghetto bish with a curling wand calling herself a hairdresser and ain’t never been to school….

back to Walking Dead…. How the heck Morgan learn those ninja moves – last time I saw him he was like CLEAR… and making booby traps….

I’m done trying to flat iron my natural hair. Mama been wanting to press it for me and I’m gonna let her do it as long as she don’t have my hair weighed down with pressing oil like she used to. My hair didn’t have heat damage back then either. It was nice and long.

Did you evah learn the hard way that you was colored? How about I hadjustgottenmah hair pressed and it was lookin all Hawaiian silky right? Seaux for a spell, I lived around spryte chilrens as well as coloreds. Seauxthe spryte chilrens invited me out to play in the sand box.

Me being the tomboy I was, I said

I went to the sand box and we got into a sand fight and what not. You know, good times. Seaux we then went to the creek to wash ourselves and hair clean from the sand. Aftah while, their hair was dry, straight, and basically free of debris.Meanwhile, I look like Riley from Boondocks. Seaux I goes home, and I may as well had gone straight to the cps office. My mama looked at me, and immediately commenced to me that day. Iffin i ain’t known before, I learnt then that I was colored.

I pressed my hair this past weekend. My hair was in the mood to play games and said to that pressing comb. I had it on low heat, because all i wanted to do was takesumma the curl out of my hair……loosen it up justa tange. To keep it lime that, I will have to start back pressing my hair once a month. Three hours……once per month…..wasted.

Shake, I can’t do it I don’t have the patience and it never comes out right when I try to flat iron it myself. I’m getting braids by this weekend and when I take them out I’m heading right the the salon for my quarterly trim before the summer begins.

Yes indeed…..I memba tha too. Mom have 20 ponytails in my head, clacker balls or ribbons up top, and barettes at thebottom. She took inventory erry day when I came home from school. Each item lost was 1 lick. As me how many i lost. My hair was an exhibit like Mona Lisa. Look, but you bet not touch!

I like to use Treaseme’s Heat protectant spray before I blow dry. And again if I’m just trying to smooth my hair with the flat iron.

Shoooooot, you ain’t gotta explain that to me Shake. It doesn’t even have to be water for me. My body temp could rise or I could just walk into a building that didn’t have climate control and mine starts to revert.
The last time I got my hair straightened I was going on a triple date. So of course I wanted to be FLAWLESS!! It wasn’t snowing when we left my place but it started on our way there -strike 1- the restaurant was downtown so of course we had to park and walk, I didn’t have an umbrella -strike 2- we get inside the restaurant and they have the heat on Serengeti. I mean condensation on the damn windows -strike 3- I walked into the bathroom and didn’t even recognize myself. My hair was reverted at the roots and curly straight at the ends. Life just wasn’t fair that night
