Accomplished actor/comedian Jamie Foxx and troubled singer Chris Brown joined forces to record a track titled “You Changed Me”, about falling in love with the perfect woman. Foxx’s upcoming untitled album is due for release on March 19.
From Gossip Cop:
It’s not clear if “You Changed Me” will be featured on Foxx’s upcoming still-untitled album, due out May 19, but the singer is expected to perform the track at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 29. In the fall, Foxx released “Party Ain’t a Party” with 2 Chainz, and last year told MTV News that he was working on a song with Pharrell, called “Tease.”
Not only will Foxx perform “You Changed Me” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, but earlier this month it was announced that he’ll also serve as its host. “Who better to host than both a Grammy-winning musician and Oscar-winning performer, Jamie Foxx?” said iHeartMedia’s president John Sykes at the time.
In addition to Foxx, a number of stars such as Rihanna, Madonna, Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Jennifer Hudson, Jason Alden and Snoop Dogg are all slated to perform. Listen to Foxx and Brown’s “You Changed Me” below, and tell us what you think of the new song.
