Songbird Mariah Carey is disputing reports that her former publicist, Cindi Berger, dumped Mariah as her client of 15 years because of her nasty attitude.
In a press release sent out by Mariah’s new manager, Stella Bulochnikov, Mariah said she dumped Berger first because her career was at a standstill and she wanted to go in a new direction.
Mariah’s new rep says Mariah sent Berger a polite letter severing all professional ties.
Mariah wrote in the letter, “I’ve done a lot of soul-searching this past year … and I found myself asking if I was truly employing a healthy perspective (not to sound too Oprah about it all :).”
She continued: “So I think it’s time for us to take a break Cindi,” saying she wants to “bring a fresh approach to this new phase in my career.”
In her letter, Mariah even offered to take out a full page ad in a Hollywood trade magazine, praising Berger and congratulating her on winning “Women of Power” award.
But gossip tabloid TMZ reached out to Berger’s peeps who claim she never got that letter.
According to the gossip rags, Berger cut ties with Mariah first because of her infamous attitude.
Sources say Berger, who also reps Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg, was simply too busy with her other bold name clients to drop what she was doing and tend to Mariah’s needs.
Mariah’s temper also, allegedly, sent her estranged husband, Nick Cannon, running for the hills.

Boot- It’s about people who CLAIM they want help. This chick almost DIED on the trip there because her kids drove her themselves. She has the surgery. Refuses to get out of bed, so the Dr. sends her home. 2 months later, still in bed. Get so bad her daughter calls the dr and he does a house visit. Never has he done a visit. So, she finally starts to do something. One daughter we saw at the beginning, but when they left for Houston she figured that was her freedom papers. Never saw her again on the show.
She was held hostage and that’s why she turned to food, but she was doing to her kids what that man did to her. They showed them washing her poosay.

The 31-year-old singer’s publicist denied that she had tried to take her own life, but Carey’s mother apparently made a distraught call to the emergency services last week after her daughter was discovered in her New York hotel room bleeding from slit wrists and cuts to her body.
Her spokeswoman Cindy Berger said Carey had cancelled all public appearances after experiencing an “emotional and physical breakdown”. She dismissed tabloid reports that the singer tried to commit suicide. She said that, just before the breakdown, Carey suffered cuts to her body, but the injuries were unintentional.

Keep telling yall when she messed up her wrist recently (2-3 years ago) from falling her sloshed azz down on that video set…she probably didnt heal good from circulation issues. Stemming from trying to slit her wrist 14 years ago. The arm brace is covering up a compression sleeve most likely. I been saying this. Coupled with alcoholism. They have poor circulation too.
