My grandma said only dummies loot and mess up their own neighborhoods but if they want to protest they need to be smart about it. She said in 90’s years she’s never seen looting or just plain protesting help anything. She said you need to hit the people who are holding you down where it hurts, in the pockets, to make a change.

This Baltimore situation…it’s so maddening to me. I AGREE with my grandma. Stop the looting. They can’t take that shyt to the Inner Harbor, Federal Hill, Fells Point etc…because then the police WILL do more than just stand there. They’re messing up their own homes. Let’s be real, those police lines are to keep the bs in west Bmore, an already run down and impoverished area in many parts. They don’t gaf if they tear up west Bmore as long as they keep it there.

I’m irritated. Tired of people saying “we don’t get mad when black people kill each other but let a white person do it and it’s time to riot.” Black people get mad, protest, and try and minimize crime in their neighborhoods every single day. The media won’t show you that part though, nor do people who make those kinds of comments take the time to find out what’s really going on. By the same reasoning since more white people kill each other than blacks kill whites why don’t they get treated like the dangerous individuals statistics indicate they are? People are pissing me off, I’m going to bed.

The neighborhoods where the looting took place were already very decrepit and run down. They only made it worse for themselves. CVS, the liquor store, the corner store, the beauty supply…those stores aren’t the problem. Yet when they don’t reopen and they have even less access because people no longer bother to start businesses in the area they complain.
