Bobbi Kristina Brown’s star-studded funeral on Saturday is expected to disrupt traffic in Alpharetta, a suburb northeast of Atlanta.
The 22-year-old aspiring singer died on Sunday, nearly 6 months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31.
Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah Brown, is still involving gossip tabloid TMZ in her ongoing feud with her sister-in-law Pat Houston, who controls Bobbi Kristina’s millions.
Leolah, who provided a copy of Brown’s Sweet 16 funeral invitation to TMZ, is angry at at Pat for allegedly benefitting financially from Bobbi Kristina’s death.
Now the conflict — the invitation suggests, in lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to The Marion P. Foundation, a charity run by Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Pat Houston, benefiting troubled teens.
Leolah, BK’s other aunt, claims Pat’s just lining her personal bank account and she’s asking people not to send “ONE RED CENT!” to the charity. 1. Leolah and Tina Brown have both sold stories to tabloids regarding the Houston/Brown family. The release of the funeral invitation is just wrong. She had no right to do that and she did it only to slam Pat and for that she should be uninvited. A FAMILY is FAMILY and regardless of how you feel, you don’t SLAM your FAMILY like this. That’s not being supportive at all. 2. BK didn’t have the normal childhood that so many of us may have had. A sweet 16 themed funeral is probably more of a celebration of her life and there is nothing wrong with that. Despite what she may have been through, maybe when she was 16 years old, things changed with her…Let them hold onto those memories of her when she was a happy child and before all the problems and heartache.

Um why is this invitation public? Leolah, hang it up. You’re crying to the public, but there’s nothing the public can do. I’m sure WH wasn’t thrilled with Pat 100%, but the key point to remember is that she apparently thought more of her than anyone else cuz she left her to handle business affairs. If Pat was so despicable and ready to pull the plug on BK, I don’t think the judge would have made her co-guardian with Bobby regarding the medical decisions for BK. Before the death of dear Bobbi Kristina, the judge appointed an unbiased individual to administer BK’S assets. In addition,, if Matriarch Cissy Houston even thought that Pat Houston was a despicable person and a thief, she would not have made her Executor of Whitney Houston’s estate. That speaks volumes bc she didn’t feel confident in her biological children to handle her finances. Mrs. Houston enjoys her lifestyle and wouldn’t want it stolen from her.

I knew when she adorned that inappropriate attire and canvas tennis shoes, she was looking for a fight. I still don’t understand how people can go into a house if worship inappropriately dressed. Maybe bc I’m 49 and was taught to dress the part for the occasion.

BK was 22. The only way I’d give a child a Sweet 16 themed funeral is if I was planning her 16th bday and she died suddenly. That’s the only exception I can think of off the top of my head.
So did Bobby. NE is still huge. He had a very successful career as a major recording artist. He was a pop star. He still tours and earns income from his 25+ yo work. People still love Bobby.
