Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes shut down rumors that Atlanta drag queen Amiyah Scott will hold a coveted peach in the upcoming season.
Leakes dismissed the reports during an appearance on Access Hollywood Live on Thursday.
“All lies. It’s just a way to get everybody to tune in. Guarantee you that,” said Leakes. She added: “None of those people that you’ve been hearing about will be Housewives.”
And she said Bravo Network would have to bring in a “truckload” of men and women to replace her on the show.
So there you have it straight from the horse’s mouth (no offense, NeNe!)
According to my well-connected sources Scott was testing for a part as Kandi Burruss’ friend on the show.
Leakes also explained why she quit ‘Housewives’, and she left the door open to a possible return (when her money runs out).
“I felt like it was very negative at times. It was just time for me to step back and try other things. I just need a break. I may come back some day,” she said.
