"Thank you to everybody. "All the gentlemen that have been in my DMs, thank y'all, too."

NeNe said, while the messages from potential suitors are "inspiring," she isn't on the market for a boytoy right now.

"I'm just over here doing me right now, but anyway, hey! I love reading the messages. They are inspiring to say the least. Thank you."

NeNe Leakes returned to Instagram to share her first selfie since husband, Gregg Leakes, lost his battle with colon cancer earlier this month.

NeNe, 53, is barely recognizable in her heavily filtered selfie which she captioned "pushing thru".

NeNe's followers say her selfie is filtered to the gawds. NeNe wears heavy makeup, nose contouring and a Farrah-esque blonde lacefront wig.

One Instagram follower wrote: "Girl what have done to your face???"

Another person wrote: "The eyebrows look so fake. Sorry. They are too big. Ijs. Otherwise beautiful."

"Who is this in the picture?. That's not nene?" asked another user.

While a fourth person wrote: "Who the hell is that."

NeNe apparently limited the comments on her post after reading some of the comments.

NeNe Leakes remembered her late husband Gregg Leakes at a memorial service on Monday, Sept. 6, days after he lost his battle with colon cancer at age 66.

Leakes, who appeared alongside NeNe and her sons in Real Housewives of Atlanta, died on Wednesday, Sept. 1, surrounded by his family at home.

NeNe held a celebration of life service at her Linnethia Lounge in Duluth, Georgia. She was joined by some of her former Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars past and present, including Lisa Wu, Phaedra Parks, Marlo Hampton, Porsha Williams and Eva Marcille.

The memorial also included several music performances from Keke Wyatt and gospel stars Yolanda Adams, Kim Burrell and Le'Andria Johnson.

NeNe, 53, took to Instagram to share an intimate photo of herself and Gregg sharing a kiss. She captioned the photo: "Today we celebrate you Gregg with love, just the way you wanted it."

Meanwhile, NeNe and Gregg's son Brentt shared an image from the memorial to his Instagram Story. In the image, a large portrait of a smiling Gregg could be seen on one of the walls of the venue. Brentt captioned his post: "Love ya pops."

NeNe wed Gregg in 1997 but they divorced in 2011, only to get back together and remarry in 2013.

The single mom worked as a stripper to support her son, Bryson, when they met in a strip club.

Gregg Leakes is most notably known for appearing alongside his wife on 12 seasons of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The family issued a statement via publicist and family friend Ernest Dukes:

"Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes. We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time."

The couple's 22-year-old son, Brentt, posted a message on his Instagram Story, encouraging others to spend quality time with loved ones.

"Spend time with your loved ones every chance you get. Time is so... valuable dog. I can't express it. I'm learning the hard way watching my dad fight every day.

"Please go create memories with ya people."

NeNe, 53, revealed in June that Gregg - who was first diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2018 - was battling the disease again after going into remission.

NeNe Leakes revealed her husband Gregg Leakes is "transitioning to the other side" in his battle with cancer.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star clapped back at a customer who called her "rude" at her Linnethia lounge in Duluth.

NeNe, real name Linnethia Monique Leakes, was upset after a customer called her "rude" for not wishing her a happy birthday.

In the video footage obtained by Instagram blog OnSite, NeNe can be heard wishing the patron a "happy birthday" before saying she didn't realize she would grab the mic that night.

"I want to be at peace. If you see me, you see my son, Okay, give us a lot of love. My husband is transitioning to the other side. You don't know what we're dealing with right now. We walked in this lounge because we had to walk in this lounge because this is our business.

"So, when people approach and say, 'You're rude because you don't want to say happy birthday,' my husband is at home dying. I don't want to say 'happy birthday,' okay?"

NeNe admitted she is going through a "difficult" time, and her 67-year-old husband is "different".

She described a condition called cachexia (wasting syndrome) which means a patient loses fat and muscle mass due to atrophy after being bedridden. Unlike normal weight loss, cachexia is not reversible.

Speaking in a recent Instagram Live, she said:

"He's super small. If you've ever been around somebody who's had cancer before, he's different. He's different.

"I'd love for everybody to pray for Gregg, that would be beautiful. Pray for his strength. And pray for me, too."

The couple married in 1997 but divorced in 2011. They remarried in a televised wedding in 2013.

She explained he'd undergone a similar surgical procedure in the past and spent just over two weeks as an inpatient.

She said at the time:

"He's in the hospital. He's been in the hospital, tomorrow it'll be a week.

"I'm sure he'll be home in about a week or so. He had to have a surgery, (because) his cancer did return. He's had this surgery before and he was in the hospital for about 15 days."

The 53-year-old reality star admitted it is a "difficult" time for her, and her 66-year-old husband is battling a debilitating wasting syndrome called cachexia.

Cachexia is characterized by significant muscle loss, weight loss, fatigue, nausea, poor appetite, and decreased quality of life.

Weight loss and muscle loss caused by cachexia can not be regained.

Speaking in an Instagram Live with The Jasmine Brand, NeNe said:

"He's super small. If you've ever been around somebody who's had cancer before, he's different. He's different.

"I'd love for everybody to pray for Gregg, that would be beautiful. Pray for his strength. And pray for me, too."

In May 2019, NeNe took to Instagram to share a picture of Gregg holding a sign which read: "No cancer found! Praise God..."

She added the caption:

"Look at God! We are over joyed to say, we saw the doctors for the results of Gregg's Pet Scan he took last week! Test show, wait for It... WE ARE CANCER FREE!!! [sic]"

The couple married in 1997 but divorced in 2011. They remarried in 2013 in a ceremony that was filmed for reality TV.

In January 2019, Gregg apologized to NeNe for giving her a hard time amid his cancer battle.

"We always hurt the ones we Love, because they allow us to hurt them rather than snap back. I'm tired of hurting my wife who is only trying to take good care of me and wants only the best for me too. She deserves much more for her hard efforts and tireless hours spent on me. I Pray to God to get it together.. She's done NO wrong... this is ALL on me...... Cancer WILL change your Life... [sic]"

NeNe Leakes sat down with blogger Michelle "ATLien" Brown for an in-depth discussion last week.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star dished about her relationships (if any) with former cast members, ongoing rumors, and if any cast members showed up at the grand opening of her new lounge.

The discussion took place at the newly opened The Linnethia Lounge, located right here in upscale Duluth, Ga., about 15 minutes northeast of crime-ridden Atlanta.

Kudos to Michelle for getting NeNe to reveal the hurt and pain caused by NeNe's dismissal from the show she helped create.

None of NeNe's cast members showed up for her grand opening. You could see the pain and disappointment in her body language.

She said only one cast member retweeted her flyer advertising her club, however, NeNe didn't sound grateful.

More interesting is what NeNe didn't discuss during the interview, such as a rumored cash settlement from Bravo Network that prevents her from discussing the behind-the-scenes drama surrounding her dismissal.

Watch the interview below.

NeNe Leakes is interviewing applicants for her new establishment, The Linnethia lounge near Atlanta, Georgia.

Linnethia Monique Leakes, who was let go from Real Housewives of Atlanta last year, is having trouble hiring staff for her new namesake lounge.

In her second job openings post on Instagram, she wrote:

The Linnethia Lounge now available for private events. Send info to thelinnethialounge@gmail.com. Walk in this FRIDAY April 23rd from 3pm to 6pm for "on the spot" interviews for Waiters, Waitress & Bartenders with lots of personality (we have something special in store for you) Oh and drinks on me! @thelinnethialounge #nightlife #loungeinduluth #lifeoftheleakes #nightlounge #duluthnights.

Not many people are eager to have NeNe for a boss.

One commenter on RhymeswithSnitch wrote:

"A person who has a horrible track record of speaking to people in derogatory ways is opening a lounge for the public to critique and post on social media. Can't wait for the sh*t show to happen."

NeNe is not the only sole proprietor having difficulty hiring employees. Most unemployed people refuse to work, thanks to unemployment benefits and stimulus checks from the government.

A McDonald's franchise owner in Florida offered to pay $50 to job applicants just to show up for a job interview.

Blake Casper, who owns 60 McDonald's in the Tampa area, blames unemployment benefits for making people lazy and unmotivated to find work.

Casper said it's a challenge getting people to sit down for an interview because most unemployed people earn more from the government than they do working minimum wage.

Unemployment benefits are set to expire in May and June for most people who haven't held a job since Covid peaked last year.

NeNe Leakes denies being an unemployed reality TV star without a team.

The former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star denied a report by blogger Love B Scott that she was dumped by her entire team because she was exceedingly difficult to work with.

"For all of you that are asking, emailing, in boxing, blogging, reporting etc. The ONLY statement i have... My team DID NOT let me go! No further statements at this time," she tweeted on Tuesday.

On Monday, Scott reported that NeNe, 53, was no longer represented by manager Steven Grossman, nor was she repped by ICM talent agency, and she was also dumped by her attorney Darrell Miller.

The report suggested that NeNe was being blacklisted after she took on Bravo Network for firing her last year. She also called Andy Cohen a racist.

On Monday, NeNe referenced both Grossman and Miller in a since-deleted-tweet.

"You can't turn on your teammate and get away with this @stevengrossman #DarrellMiller #Foxrothschild," she wrote. "Suppression, retaliation, discrimination, unequal pay, devaluation against black women is real, it’s painful and it hurts. I will fight for all women rights PS: FIX IT."

Since being booted from RHOA, NeNe accused Bravo of discriminating against black women. She also accused Cohen of being racist. And in December, she urged her followers to boycott the network.

She claimed former co-star Porsha Williams is aware of the unfair treatment of women, but won't speak up because she feared "losing her check."

"I have numerous emails, text messages, RHOA group text, voice recording that go back yearsssss," NeNe tweeted. "I never got rid of anything! Fix your dirty work. Being a racist is so yesterday."
