NeNe Leakes’ eldest son Bryson Bryant was arrested for felony possession of fentanyl and other charges. He is currently in jail awaiting a hearing scheduled for Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. local time.
According to a criminal warrant obtained by Page Six, Bryson, 33, was arrested on July 3 and faces several charges, including possession of a scheduled II controlled substance, violation of probation, loitering and giving a false name, address or birthdate.
Bryson reportedly gave arresting officers his little brother Brentt Leakes’ name and birthdate.
Bryson was arrested at a private residence in Lawrenceville, Ga. after allegedly “evading police and claiming he knew the people that lived at the residence which was false.”
He also allegedly gave police the address of a residence his mom had sold years ago.
Bryson was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail and his bond was set at $3,700, Page Six reports.
Bryson was also charged with violating probation in another case.
He has had numerous run-ins with the law in the past.
During Season 5 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” in 2012, NeNe let Bryson stay in jail after he stole a package of razors from a local Walmart.
“He’s had a really easy life, so now I’m gonna show him what a hard life is,” NeNe said at the time. “He’s gonna stay in jail, I’m not getting him out, and he can figure it out from behind bars.”
