A Texas drug dealer is in legal trouble for concealing a loaded handgun without a license. Unlike men, women have a secret hiding place that isn’t likely to be searched by law enforcement — at least not without a search warrant.

31-year-old Ashley Castaneda was arrested after police found 29.5 grams of meth and a scale in her purse during a routine traffic stop.

During the ride to police headquarters, Castaneda informed officers that she was carrying a loaded weapon inside her vaginal cavity.

Police stopped the transport vehicle and, after Castaneda gave them permission to search and seize the gun, a female officer recovered a fully loaded .22-caliber Smith and Wesson handgun from Castaneda’s vaginal cavity.

According to USA Today, the handgun had a round in the chamber and a full magazine clip.

The moist handgun was placed in an evidence bag and transported with the prisoner.

The police had a story to tell when they got back to headquarters, but not everyone is laughing.

“People have asked us, ‘Why are you even telling us this?’” a police spokesperson told the Waco Tribune-Herald. “The reason is because we want people to know this truly does happen. That was an extremely dangerous situation for everyone involved.”
