Why the media isn’t reporting the story of a teenager allegedly beaten by her older boyfriend

Harrowing photos of a teenage girl are spreading like wildfire on multiple blogs and social media platforms. The text accompanying the photos claim that a 15-year-old Chicago girl was savagely beaten to a bloody pulp by her older boyfriend.

My readers wondered aloud why the story hasn’t been picked up by the local or national media.

The reason is simple: without a police report, there is no way to confirm the allegations are true.

Sandrarose.com makes it a rule not to report on suspicious stories that originate on a certain gossip blog. That blog is notorious for manufacturing fake stories from whole cloth.

Numerous media outlets have burned after reporting stories that originated on that gossip blog. Therefore, the media is wise to wait for confirmation from a more credible source.

This is why I counsel all my friends to put their children in pre-school by age 1. Then you won’t have all that drama on the first day of public school because they’ll be well socialized with other children.

In my experience, it’s hard the first day you leave your child with someone whether it’s day care, preschool, or school. If the child requires some kind of care, I will always advocate for highly-recommended, fully-vetted home day care centers, so I wouldn’t recommend sending a child less than a year old to a day care center.

Lil Butter stayed with Nanna until he was 3. I didn’t have to deal with hand, foot, mouth, strep, the flu, etc. that runs rampant in day care centers. When he entered Kindergarten, he was way ahead of his classmates, because he wasn’t fighting for attention and learning time with 20 other kids.

Bless yall’s hearts. Nanna had about 5 other kids for the first year, then they all went to school, so it was he and Nanna for the next couple of years. I would go to pick him up, and her son would tell me, “Ummmmm, she said they’re going to the shopping center. I’ll tell her to call you when she gets back.” It got to the point where he would spend the weekend with her. He loves his Nanna ’til this day. <3

Recently, I saw a documentary about a study from across the pond where the children had made their own society. It was too packed. They definitely had up cones directing people….Police outside for traffic, but really posted up under the shade tree. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. The sauce was better than what I expected.

If you would like the link I would be glad to provide it to you. They have been covering it for a little over a week now. And the DA’s office here in Mobile, AL are not taking this behavior light due to the animals past history.

These kids tickle me telling us we embarrass them..I remember taking my daughter and a friend to see Kriss Kross..( she is now 31yo).. at MSG in New York. And she told me don’t embrass her when we get there..she was all of 7 or 8 yo at the time..
