Ronda should’ve avoided fighting real boxers like Floyd did.

Bad chemistry here for Ronda; not ready for this fight, believing her own hype, and going against an opponent that wanted this more. Also Ronda doesn’t really know how to rumble with an opponent for full rounds, full fights because she knocks out her opponents in the first round. Holly was not having any of that.

MMA fighters need to realize when it comes to trying to out box a boxer in the ring, youre going to lose. that is what happened. she should have dropped her and used that BJJ to her advantage, you cant become a boxer over night just like she didn’t start doing BJJ over night. that fight was to pretty but Ronda came out looking like she wasn’t prepared and she was out of shape. Holly studied Rhonda and knew she moves fast…. All she had to do was let her wear herself out. That’s why she was frustrated. Floyd isn’t the best at boxing but he knows how to avoid getting a beat down …. And he has great money managers that helped him get great contracts!

I have a friend who’s about 43 and pregnant with her second child. But she also got married in her late 30s and didn’t have her first until she was 39, so she’s trying to get this last one in before her shop closes. I will say once my kids all get in school, I wouldn’t want to start all over again with diapers and no sleep.

I know a chick who was her mothers only child until her senior year in high school. She was 18 and her mom had the baby shortly after she graduated. I remember thinking wtf was she thinking? I’ll step right into “it” by saying I love boxing and wanted to be a boxer when I was younger. I don’t think it has anything to do with mental instability, but being absolutely fanatical about sports growing up. I wanted to play everything but hockey, and almost did. There’s such technique that is required to be a good fighter. I can care less about getting hit. My primary concern would be head injuries. I’m not interested in sustaining concussions, ending up needing a shunt later in life, having Parkinson’s, etc. I’m glad I never pursued boxing.

My father is trained in boxing and karate. When I was a kid, I took lessons and trained at home with my dad. I appreciate the art of self-defense, but beating someone up for sport, isn’t my idea of a good time.
