Janet Jackson fans can breathe a sigh of relief. She does not have throat cancer.
In a message posted on Twitter.com, the 49-year-old pop superstar denied the vicious rumor that was spread by an American gossip blog after she canceled a slew of tour dates to recover from a minor medical procedure.
Jackson’s doctor has cleared her to return to the tour in March. All postponed shows will be rescheduled. So don’t throw away your tickets!
Jackson posted a message on Twitter.com that read:
The rumors are untrue.
I do not have cancer.
I’m recovering.
My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled.Thank you for your prayers and love.
