Black Lives Matter agitator DeRay McKesson is running for mayor of Baltimore, Maryland.
McKesson and American President Barack Obama have a few things in common; neither one had political experience or jobs before they ran for public office.
McKesson announced his candidacy in a blog post on Medium.com.
“It is true that I am a non-traditional candidate?—?I am not a former Mayor, City Councilman, state legislator, philanthropist or the son of a well-connected family,” he wrote. “I am an activist, organizer, former teacher, and district administrator that intimately understands how interwoven our challenges and our solutions are.”
McKesson plans to put his unique skills to work as a social media justice warrior, race baiter and instigator to further divide Baltimore along racial lines.
McKesson realizes he has an uphill battle. Black Twitter is not known to open their wallets or purses for political candidates. McKesson will need millions of dollars — not millions of tweets — to run a successful election campaign.
“I have come to realize that the traditional pathway to politics, and the traditional politicians who follow these well-worn paths, will not lead us to the transformational change our city needs,” he wrote.
According to Breitbart.com, “McKesson plans to fight the political establishment and shake up the system by running as a Democrat.”
Baltimore residents can look forward to long hot summers of racial violence if he is elected mayor.
And just like Obama, McKesson will conveniently forget who put him in office.
