An arrest warrant has been issued for Katt Williams for violating his probation by fighting a Georgia teenager last week.
Channel 2’s Tom Regan reports exclusively that Gainesville police issued an arrest warrant for Williams Monday. He will be charged with disorderly conduct and bond violations.
The 42-year-old troubled comedian explained the fight during his stand up comedy routine at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Friday.
Williams said he stopped his car to play a game of soccer with children in the seedy part of Gainesville, GA. three weeks ago
He said the teenager, Luke Walsh, was aggressive and “talked sh*t about me the whole game. My teammates are trying to let me know something ain’t right. He says some slick sh*t.”
Williams said he thought 17-year-old Walsh was 19.
“I said listen, you know I’m in trouble with the m_____ f_____ law,” Williams said. “Just understand I can take your ass around this f______ corner. I will explain to you you don’t talk to grown men like this.”
Williams told his audience he tried to teach Walsh a grown man lesson. But the experience wrestler ended up teaching Williams a lesson instead.
Videos uploaded to Worldstarhiphop.com and Youtube.com show walsh easily manhandling Williams and taking the comedian down to the ground with a wrestling move.
In an interview with UK’s Daily Mail, Walsh said Williams took him over to a “secluded area and asked the boy to hit him.
Williams was arrested in Gainesville earlier this month on assault charges and a separate arrest on drugs and weapons charges.
In 2008 Williams was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
