Former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott is the first client to sign with Jacob York's newly-launched Electric Republic Sports management division. Electric Republic Sports also announced they have partnered with 5th Down Management to co-manage their first client.

The Dallas Cowboys selected Elliott 4th overall in the 2016 NFL draft.

Elliott, 20, is the first running back picked in the top five since Trent Richardson went No. 3 overall in 2012.

Electric Republic is a full-service, independently-owned media company that develops and markets talent, film, television, and digital assets. The company was formed in 2008 and currently manages actress Karrueche Tran and actress Lalanya Masters among its clients.

"Sports, like music and talent management, is a passion for me," said Jacob York, founder and president of Electric Republic. "I am very excited about providing full-service sports management for top-tier athletes. On this venture, my business partner Walden Davis and I will create an array of branding opportunities for our athletes."

This is the crop top dude, right? He looks like he has a lot of body hair...like you'd be tempted to attack him with scissors, a razor, and some Veet before happy time.

  • PettyEyezPrime

Yes, this is the one who got fashion tips from Winnie the Pooh.

  • ReadingIsFundamental4Real

they manage strippers too?? Who are the agents; where did they come from? I don't know about being with a company that is too diverse in their business dealings. I need your niche to be about the business I'm trying to conduct only. My nail lady can't do my hair and my financial advisor isn't doing my taxes.

  • MotherOfDragons, GetOffMyENuts

I wondered why his mother didn't say "No Zeke. NO."

  • MotherOfDragons, GetOffMyENuts

Ok...the sun is shining. I can't sit here anymore. I'm going out, eff it.

  • goat

Why?? Just give your money away I guess.

Ezekiel just signed a deal with the devil. It's crazy how Dr. Malachi York was set up, incarcerated and may never see the light of day. Meanwhile, his son, the pimp, is alive and well, purporting himself to be a "manager" of people who don't have talent or tangible careers.

  • MookieFly

His abs aren't even all that. I was expecting some rock hard abs not some pebbles from the fish tank

  • SandrasNewFave

    Aquarium nuggets?! ?

  • harley_quinn2.0

So he does this on the regular? Smh...

  • hi-liter

Lots of body hair, maybe....but I like men with that thick dark hair, thick brows. Granny would say he got that rich blood. Now, he can keep them crop tops he be wearing. Hopefully its only because he loves his abs so much.

  • Tiffany Miller

that Welcome to the Family in the background is just pure shade... Cuz he is FAM

  • Vonn

Pants sagging to their knees & crop tops, what's next...sports bras? Bring back the masculine man!!!!!

  • barbeez

I hope Elliott represents us Buckeyes right. I'm not sure about this decision. Isn't this the guy representing the Westbrooks. What have we really seen Karrache Tran do except YouTube cooking videos with Kylie Jenner and a YouTube web series which showcased her horrible acting?

  • SpideySense

For real, i was just about to write that. I miss those days of yore, AKA the 90's.

  • Finding Forever…

I'm NOT too certain I'd want someone in charges of MY MILLLIIONS, with only TWO "known" clients....(whisssppers gotta be CAUTIOUS what I say about Rueche--her TRANS=Tran Fans, attacked me for saying she wasn't KNOW until Chris & should be thankful for what dealing with him brought her, LOL).

  • ReadingIsFundamental4Real

he look like the dude my dad use to refer to when he told me to be extra careful when dealing with our own.... everybody ain't your brother. ... so sad.

  • TheRealLee

This young guy is already on the Hollywood path going nowhere when he should be concentrating on football. He is brand? Yea, he started that with a tank top looking dumb and stupid.

  • Listen2me2

    He's nice looking!
Don't like the half shirts he wears and he could also use a good teeth whitener, but best of luck to him getting his ???!

  • benitarenee

I don't think this was a smart move for him...we shall see...

  • benitarenee

I know!! I don't think this was a smart move...

Jacob the crook... if u from the A u know what I'm talking about... negros moves to LA and thinks people forgot about his hustle... old ny hustle.... these people will be robbed for every thing

  • Handle your issues

He's no longer representing the Westbrook girls. Why he took them on in the first place.......karrueche is doing very well with her makeup line and swim suit line. Both have made loads of money. He seems to be doing very well with her. I'm not sure why he would want to add the sports world. Seems like a stretch.

  • Traci404

Great to see a Super Star Athlete get a Black Sports Agent.
Very competitive industry, Not a lot of people of color on the Management side of the industry.
Jacob York - Best Wishes and Good Luck Sir.

Keep your client away from those Kardashians, He will end up like Lamar, Harden, Humphries. Used up and on the TMZ everyday

I agree with @prettyEyezPrime. That signing bonus check was so big and heavy. It covered her eyes, numbed her tongue and broke her fingers. So, she couldn't even sign, "Don't do it!".

  • Allergic2dumbstuff

ITA! Dollars made her blind, deaf and mute.

Oooh h3ll nawh! I'm not a football fan, so I only saw the draft pics. This uh... fella, wore his uniform like this? goh lmbo

  • Ant Hill

I don't think York is a sports agent...he is just marketing for dude...trying to get him in commercials and such.

  • KingCetshwayo

Because giving his business to some Jew is so smart. How many times are they going to rob some athlete before you all learn?

Why give it to anyone? A lot of these positions they can do on their own, no need to pay someone for something you can do.
