Emo rapper Drake was the host and musical guest on NBC’s Saturday Night Live this past weekend.
The Canadian native parodied himself as a hypersensitive rapper who has imaginary beef with everyone, including SNL cast members, a cleaning lady and even Lorne Michaels for complimenting him on doing a good job. (“Good job? That’s it? I’m doing great you bitch!”)
Drake was noticeably absent from his usual courtside seat in Toronto on Sunday as his beloved Raptors routed Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat 116-89 in game 7 of the NBA Eastern conference semifinals.
On Tuesday the Raptors take on LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in game 1 of the NBA eastern conference finals at the Q in Cleveland. Game 1 marks the Raptors’ 1st ever conference finals appearance in franchise history.
The Raptors don’t stand a chance against the Cavs who took a week off after sweeping our Atlanta Hawks 4-0 in round 2 of the NBA playoffs.
