Was Tamar Braxton Fired from ‘The Real’ for Being Difficult to Work With?

I don’t watch the show, but Loni Love was on Wendy the other day and my god that woman is a loud mouth, walking stereotype. I’m sure the show will be off the air soon. Don’t know how they lasted this long.

Back in December 2015 when Tamar was in the hospital, it was reported in the NY POST that the Producers realized how things went much easier in production while she wasnt there. Also, it was easier to book guest, because some people didnt want to be interviewed by her.

She is a hardworking woman, but comes off as being BRASH. Too EXTRA
Once they realized, life was better without her, 5 months later she is GONE

she acted a fool one time too many.

The show was getting boring, it will be cancel soon.

If she was fired she has to take some responsibility for her actions. There are no “friends” at work. Live and learn hun.

I’m NOT even surprised if she was fired or will be fired. Her ATTITUDE has sadly costed her this gig (if true) & could possibly cost her more later down the line. It comes to some point in time when one must take ownership for the decisions they make & the character/morals/values/demeanor they possess. Of all the appreciation and knowledge that’s come from this experience, you choose to CLAP BACK. Why not take the high road? Thank JUST the network & executives, those fans who watch (NOT certain who…but I guess there are some), your family for the unwavering support and not worry about the other host. She has TRUE talent, but panel style talk show was probably NEVER HER…SHE thing, but clearly couldn’t carry a solo talk show because of the ‘tude sadly. Probably that damn Loni or Adrienne…One wants her husband (jokes too much for my liking) & the other her singing career/abilities, I guess.

I can’t stand talk shows with a bunch of cackling women trying to over talk one another. I watched this show once, and that was enough for me. I’m surprised it took them this long to let Tamar go.

Story time. Friday night we were driving, I see the cops on this side street. I slowed down. Saw somethings thing laying on the street. Cops had gun drawn. We drive past and I hear a gunshot. I just started crying. I could not stop. I didn’t find anything on line that said it was a person, but it just messed me up. We should not be that upset. My kids were spooked too.

I did not like the way Lonni joked about Tamar’s husband either. It was not cute and you could tell that Tamar didn’t like it.

I was thinking this may have to actually do with her attitude and she is trying to deflect it by blaming someone else or other people!

This reminds me of what happened after the first season of The Talk when they fired Holly Robinson Pete and that other chick. Everyone said the show was going to fail, well few years later it’s still on. I stopped watching it, but many others have not. Nothing against Tamar, but she was a little over the top. .. Oh well. My money is on her referring to Adrienne. Is it true that the only person she is following on social media now is Tamara? I’m a fan of Tamar. However, where there is smoke there is fire. I have been to the taping of the show several times. The first time I went I could tell that Tamar was fighting with her co-host. She screamed at hair and makeup. Tamara was the buffer, she is the co-host used to cool out Tamar. Tamara keep trying to cool Tamar down, I saw here tell Tamar she didn’t know either. Lonnie just sat there and didn’t talk to anybody “I ain’t in this mess” , and Jeannie and Andrienne talked among themselves. It was clear there was issues, but who likes all their coworkers all the time. The last time I went a couple weeks ago Tamar was a different person, and they all seemed to be getting along and happy. It’s sad that she lost her very good job …

I agree, they never get deep into their topics. Even when talking about things that could be real like last week they were talking about skin bleaching but they all just made jokes about it. It’s like the opposite of real

I think you are right. I don’t like the show because of Tamar all that neck rolling, lip popping and fake praises playing around with the Lord. She can be too much!!!Her family puts up with her antics on their show although Towanda and Trina are probably thinking we told you so. They have had many run ins with her.

If Tamar was working for a corporation like us, her behavior would be repulsive and not tolerated. She doesn’t know how to conduct herself in the workplace due to her undiagnosed mental condition… I assume she has adhd or bipolar etc… Anyway, the narcissist in her decided to place the blame on others instead of her realizing she’s the reason she was fired. Own it Tay… Anyway I’ve bought all of her cd’s minus the Christmas one and I intend to continue to support her, but a career in a structured work environment won’t work for her at all.

Meredith Vieira’s talk show was cancelled. Friday was her last episode. She was the worst host ever. The 2nd season had the round table consisting of two annoying white women, Lance Bass (who is as annoying) and a comedienne named Yamaneika, who was the show. I’m hoping doors are open to Yamaneika for most hosting gigs. If they are, Loni Love better be really concerned. IDK that studios will feel there is room for more than one plus-size Black comedienne. Loni is cool, but Yamaneika is far more personable and much funnier than Loni.

I don’t watch Power anyway. I heard he’s a character in it. So not interested in starting.

I watched an episode, and I hardly ever watch that show, where a discussion about a teacher getting fired for being caught twerking on video, led to Tamar shading the F out of Adrienne. I was too tickled. Tamar was basically saying that preachers, teachers, and the like, should be held to higher standards. Nobody wants to see their preacher out drinking, etc. Adrienne was visibly upset. I found it funny because I’ve read rumors that Tamar used to be the other woman. Either way, I don’t like Adrienne, or any of the women on the show to be honest. Everything about Adrienne screams grimy and she should be ashamed of herself for dating that ministry of music and acting like its nothing wrong with her breaking up a family. She’s so trashy to me.

If Tamar did that, then she should be fired. You don’t throw your coworkers under the bus in front of the world. Sounds like she was being a bully. I remember being all tore up over her calling her names and she still didnt humble herself.

I think Tamar is over the top, and this is based on how she acts on the show and such. I believe in being confident and knowing your worth but she acts like someone owes her something and her attitude is a bit stink at times. I hate to hear of anyone being out of work, however we have to be held accountable for our actions. I think once she simmers down a bit and humble herself she will do just fine. Tamar has grown on me, but she was horrible at one time. When she was hush about her and Vince show with her sisters….but she bought BFV to the table.

I think it is a different type of dramatic. Wendy is knows how to turn her antics on & off and she also knows how to schmooze with various audiences. (HSN, Housewives) Tamar has yet to master that trait.

Awww, thank you, babe. I can only sympathize with Tamar to a certain extent, since I’m the only girl. My brothers pretty much catered to me and let me run the house (with a little pestering). Almost 30 years later, and they still treat me the same way.

She does get kudos for bringing the show to the table. She shouldn’t throw it in their faces though.

I agree Tamar is loud but I felt they could have came to better agreement – maybe give her only a few segments or have her do 3 of the 5 shows a week.
