The judge presiding over over Phaedra Parks‘ defamation case against author Angela Stanton has dismissed Stanton’s multi-million dollar counter-suit against the reality TV star.
But here is the twist: after the judge granted Parks’ motion for dismissal, Phaedra dropped her defamation lawsuit against Stanton with prejudice. Meaning Parks is barred from ever going after Stanton in court if Stanton continues to accuse Parks of knowingly participating in her husband Apollo Nida’s criminal enterprise.
As you know, Stanton and Nida were partners in crime when Nida was busted on federal racketeering charges and sent up the river. Parks married the ex-con when he was released from prison in 2009.
Coincidently — and this is exclusive TEA from my real estate spy — Parks is out shopping for a multi-million dollar mansion.
My real estate spy knows Parks’ real estate agent. But don’t say I told you that.
Basically, both ladies are winners; Stanton can tell her story without fear of being sued; and Phaedra can keep denying it ever happened.
As I told you previously, Bravo Network is doing some house cleaning and bringing in fresh new faces for season 9 of Real Housewives of Atlanta. I can’t tell you how I know that.
I hear Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, and Kenya Moore are desperate and will do anything to hold onto their peaches.
But producers are reportedly drawing up pink slips for two of them!
