Singer Brandy Norwood responded to critics on social media who came for her neck after she responded to a fan inquiring about her “So Gone” challenge.
For those of you who aren’t familiar, the “So Gone” challenge is a freestyle rap over singer Monica Brown‘s 2003 single, “So Gone,” about a woman in a dysfunctional relationship.
Brandy dismissed the fan who asked her to contribute her rap to the viral videos.
“Chile, bye!” Brandy responded to the fan — which prompted Monica to get in her feelings over the assumed diss.
Brandy is not a rapper. And unlike most artists today, Brandy doesn’t need social media memes to stay relevant.
Stars spend most of their time glued to social media collecting followers and ‘likes’ like trophies.
It’s sad that they can’t sell more than 20,000 albums when they have millions of followers.
