A top Clinton Foundation executive contemplated suicide on several occasions because she couldn’t take Bill and Chelsea Clinton’s “office crap” any more.
Former President Bill Clinton’s ex-chief adviser, Doug Band, sent an email to Bill Clinton’s staff saying he talked Clinton Foundation COO, Laura Graham, out of killing herself.
In the email contained in a WikiLeaks email dump on Monday, Band wrote: “Late last night, laura graham called me as she couldn’t reach my brother or her shrink.”
Band wrote that Graham was “on staten island in her car parked a few feet from the waters edge with her foot on the gas pedal and the car in park.”
He added: “She called me to tell me the stress of all of this office crap with [Bill Clinton] and [Chelsea Clinton] as well as that of her family had driven her to the edge and she couldn’t take it anymore.”
Band said he successfully talked Graham out of driving her car into the water that night.
“I spent a while on the phone with her preventing her from doing that, as I have a few times in the past few months, and was able to reach roger and her shrink,” Band wrote.
Band added, “I’m sure chelsea is more concerned with … the several stories that have appeared in the ny post about her father and a multitude of women over the years.”
Hillary Clinton was serving as U.S. Secretary of State at the time the email was sent in December 2011.
Bill and Chelsea — Hillary’s husband and daughter — were in charge of running the Clinton Foundation.
Apparently Chelsea ran the foundation with an iron fist. As a result, she was not well liked by the foundation’s emotionally fragile staffers.
One veteran Clinton aide reportedly called Chelsea a “spoiled brat kid”.
