A Baltimore teacher is out of a job after she told black 8th graders they were “punk ass niggers” who are “gonna get shot”.
The incident happened at Baltimore’s Harlem Park Elementary on Wednesday.
The grainy video, shot by an 8th grader, starts with the Caucasian teacher ordering a black youngster to “get out of my class!”
After escorting the boy out, she turns on the other students, calling them “idiots” and “punk ass niggers” who are “gonna get shot… because you’re stupid!”.
The mother of one of the students uploaded the shocking video to Facebook.com, where it went viral.
“I see it and I’m floored!” Erica Gales Deminds, 32, told the NY Daily News. “So I uploaded it and shared it with my family… didn’t think it would go as far as it went,” she said.
Deminds defended the teacher, saying “She’s a very nice teacher. I can’t say what happened that day. I think she was at a breaking point.”.
The Baltimore City public system took swift action and terminated the teacher after reviewing video of her outburst.
The NY Daily News tried unsuccessfully to reach the teacher for a comment.
