Rich people buy their children carloads of expensive gifts to overcompensate for not being there to give their kids the love and attention they need. As a result, their children grow up believing love can be bought from a store.
Their children don’t enjoy the little things in life when they grow up because they’re too busy pursuing material things.
The children of NBA legend LeBron James are fortunate. Yes, they received a few toys under the Christmas tree. But all year ’round they receive the gifts of Love and affection from their parents that can’t be bought in a store.
And while most of us spent more money than we had to on gifts to overcompensate for something this year, the James children had a blast playing with the cardboard boxes their toys came in.
Remember it’s the little things in life that matter the most.
