Off topic …. I’m going to enjoy this day….Today’s an inservice day at school and I am off. The teachers and parents meet about students that are BAH. That’s the diagnosis I give them as a clinician and educator. It’s not in the the DSM that we use to get mental health disorders it’s one I made up . It’s stands for bad as hell. These kids didn’t do their work, acted up in class, and had detentions , and ISS where they could make up the work. Even though points are taken off it’s not at a zero or failing grade unless they don’t do the work. Now that grades are in the parents want to act ??? shocked! We called , sent notes, you signed them, signed the work , agreed to the plans and they are still falling short. The kids are smart too. These are not the kids that need the extra help . Those kids we are doing all we can help, they often have problems at home too so we work with them. These kids have parents coming in today trying to change C’s to A’s They are smart but lazy! They have 100 dollar sneakers and bring iPhones to school. Nope I am not advocating for one of their arses! The few that were bullied I helped already and they had good grades… these few are clowns… priveledged ! It goes across racial lines too. People are spoiling their kids with technology and clothes ! Not spending time with them and teaching them!

Good Morning!. I agree with you and I want to thank you for teaching these bad and spoiled smart kids. My sister is a teacher. She teaches Spanish and the kids be trying her. And when it’s the parents to come to the school they want to act a fool but my sister like you shut the parents down and prove to them all the homework and assignments/projects that had to be done. And you know that the some of the kids got a fat 0…and the parents want’s to come to the school and act a fool. So I give it to you all for trying to educate this kids today. Sorry, claiming the game was fixed/rigged is kinda weak. Was it rigged when the Patriot RB fumbled, and also when Brady threw an interception for a pick-6? No.
The Falcons played themselves out of that game. Bad coaching decisions and clock management, stupid penalties, questionable playcalling, an ineffective running game… these thing all added up and they kept leaving the door open for Brady to take advantage or their mistakes
When you’re up 28-3 in the 3rd quarter, and 28-9 in the 4th, you don’t have any excuse for losing that game.
I work with students that need extra help. Most of the time they just need you to read to them and take your time . Classes are overcrowded and kids can be overwhelmed . Sometimes they have a lot going on at home too. Some teachers are too young too be in high school in my opinion but that’s another issue in itself! The kids do not respect them at all! Some teachers get burn out too! Some teachers are intimidated by the students who are in elementary school , let alone Middle and high school. Sometimes it’s the parents threatening them and sometimes it’s the curriculum . Seriously the principle has the teachers back and the some teachers learn to document everything. That’s what we have to do! I don’t have to do as much as them but every time I go in a class for each hour , I document. I have the teachers back.
Thank you!!! Now I will say bless your sister and all the great teachers too! There are some teachers that are lazy too and that are burnt out! They need to retire or find new jobs. Some are too young to be in the high school setting and they can’t get the respect they need. Overall teaching isn’t as easy as one would think . I don’t have to command the class all day everyday but I work with kids all day and I love it!!! Just keep our babies in prayer !
