Molly Brazy

A Detroit teen rapper is under investigation by police after she was seen pointing a gun at a toddler’s head in a Facebook Live video.

Police are investigating 18-year-old up-and-coming gangsta rapper Molly Brazy to determine if the gun was real or a toy.

In the video, Brazy is seen arguing with a little girl who appears to be 2 or 3. “When I have some candy you’re going to want some of my candy,” Brazy tells the child. It isn’t clear if she’s referring to sweet confections or drugs.

Moments later, the little girl hurls what appears to be a toy gun at the rapper.

“Why would you do that?” Brazy snapped, before picking up the weapon and pointing it at the child’s head.

“You better stop playing wit me,” she tells the frightened child. “You’re gonna get in trouble.”

The minute-long film was shared on Facebook by another unknown rapper, G’Mac Cash. The clip was viewed over 170,000 times, according to Fox2 Detroit News.

Concerned Facebook users notified the police.

“It’s very concerning to see anybody point a weapon at a small child,” Sgt. Michael Woody told Fox2.

“We’ve seen so much infant mortality in this city in the past year. Messing around with guns like that is not a smart thing to do. It’s very irresponsible and reckless.”

Brazy’s manager insists the gun was a toy and that Brazy was only playing with the child.

The troubled teen is posted numerous Youtube videos of herself holding what appear to be automatic weapons including an AK47.

All four of Brazy’s older brothers are serving time in prison.
