Mariah Carey and her boy toy Bryan Tanaka have apparently split. The 47-year-old pop Diva began dating Tanaka, 33, on the rebound after her embarrassing split from her fiancé, Australian billionaire James Packer, last year.
Tanaka worked as a dancer on Mariah’s Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour in 2016. He reportedly caught Mariah’s fancy and she exploited the younger man by posing for numerous staged pictures on a beach in Hawaii in November.
Sources tell TMZ.com the cause of the split was Bryan’s insane jealousy over Mariah’s close relationship with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, the father of her five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe Cannon.
The “last straw” came at the Kids’ Choice Awards last month, when Mariah, Nick and the twins posed on the orange carpet in coordinating outfits. Tanaka reportedly felt “disrespected” and voiced his displeasure.
Mariah reportedly signed Tanaka to play her romantic interest on her E! reality show Mariah’s World, which was poorly rated despite all the drama from her breakup from Packer.
The reality show ended with Mariah dramatically removing her engagement ring during the season finale which aired in January.
