Similar warning letters were sent to Hollywood socialite Amber Rose after she put up a post with a photo of a pinky ring by Fred and Far company. “Thank you @fredandfar for your love and support,” Amber Rose wrote in the photo caption. But in its letter, the FTC pointed out that simply saying “thank you” is not sufficient to inform her followers that she was paid to put up a sponsored post.
