Swizz Beatz Slams Balenciaga for Jacking Ruff Ryder Logo

Swizz Beatz

Rap magnate Swizz Beatz lashed out at designer Balenciaga for apparently lifting his Ruff Ryder record label without permission and putting it on a shirt. A male model wore the shirt on the runway during the fashion house’s Spring 2018 collection during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris on Wednesday.

“@balenciaga we must have a talk about this Ruff Ryder shirt ASAP,” Alicia Keys‘ husband wrote in the caption of a photo displaying the shirt on his Instagram page. He also posted a photo of the original Ruff Ryder logo on a shirt, and he suggested that Balenciaga “give back to the culture” by building “a fashion school in the bronx or harlem”.

In other business news, the 38-year-old hip-hop mogul signed an exclusive deal on Monday to design watches for Zenith watches (picture top).

“It’s time to make more History with pure quality & craftsmanship… Thank you @jcbiver for understanding my creativity as I’m just a kid from the bronx with Big Dreams,” he wrote in the caption.
