Women on social media are swooning over David Bailey, the Capitol Police Officer whose heroism saved many lives when James T Hodgkinson opened fire during a Congressional baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia on Tuesday.
Bailey and fellow Capitol Officer Crystal Griner were assigned to guard Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) because he is the House Majority Leader.
Bailey and Griner were shot and wounded as they rushed onto the field to return fire after Hodgkinson began firing at the Congressman and their aides.
Lawmakers praised Bailey and Griner for their heroism and courage. “Had they not been there, it would have been a massacre,” U.S. Senator Rand Paul, (R-Ky.) told MSNBC News.
Both Bailey and Griner are expected to fully recover from their injuries.
Bailey’s swarthy good looks attracted female admirers who flocked to his private social media pages. One reader emailed Sandrarose.com to ask for more information on the tall, dark and handsome hero.
