Local rapper Yung Mazi, who was shot 10 times at a Waffle House in Atlanta last December, was shot and killed at another local eatery on Sunday night.

Police say the 31-year-old rapper was shot to death by a lone gunman outside a pizza restaurant in Atlanta. Witnesses described the gunman as a black male wearing dark jeans, a white t-shirt, and a dreadlocks hairstyle.

Mazi survived an earlier attempt on his life when he was shot and wounded after ordering breakfast at a Waffle House.

R&B singer Monica Brown shared a B&W image of Mazi on her Instagram page on Monday with the caption, “My Heart is Bleeding.”

Rapper Rich Homie Quan, who recorded with Mazi, also honored his friend’s memory on social media, posting a photo of the late rapper in the studio and captioning it, “Rest easy Mazi.”

Mazi, who was also shot and wounded in an ambush in 2015, famously said the shooter should take better aim next time.

“I just got shot three more times.. I done got shot 10 times, he said from his hospital bed in Nov. 2015.
