The reality TV show jinx has struck again. R&B singer Keke Wyatt, 35, and her husband Michael Ford are divorcing after 7 years of marriage. The couple was raising their 2 children and Wyatt’s 4 children from her first marriage to her former road manager Rahmat Morton.
Wyatt made the announcement in an emotional video posted online on Monday, Sept. 5.
Wyatt is reportedly 8 months pregnant with her 8th child (a child with Morton was stillborn).
In the video, Wyatt bitterly condemned Ford, whom she claims called her “an emotional wreck” and asked her for a divorce because she is caring for a child with cancer.
Wyatt indicated Ford is cheating on her and she gave her social media followers the go ahead to “roast his ass. I don’t care.”
“You want to know something, America? When you 8 months pregnant and you got a child sick, in and out of the hospital, and your husband got the nerve to tell you that he wants a divorce. Because, he says that you’re an emotional wreck. He says that from the very beginning you never trusted me and all that kind of stuff. Like, yeah, telling other people, other women that we getting a divorce and if she calls, like, what?! I’m so done with Michael Jamar. Y’all can have him and roast his ass. I don’t care.”
Our hearts and sympathies go out to Keke at this very trying time. But everything does not belong on social media.
