Social media users have already given the police a lot to go on. They’ve identified everyone in the room — including the three men who allegedly had sex with an incapacitated Kenneka in the hotel room.
They also named Roberts and Shelton as the women seen laughing and smoking weed on Facebook Live while Kenneka was apparently being raped.
But most troublesome is the fact that the women may have charged the men $200 to have sex with Kenneka.
At some point, Roberts is heard on the video confirming a price of $200. At another point in the video, one of the women is heard saying, “They stupid. They in here raping her.”
When Kenneka begins to cry, Roberts turned up the music to drown out her cries.
After news of Kenneka’s death was reported, the teenager’s friends took to social media to post photos of her.
Many of them directed their anger and hostility toward Roberts, who deleted her Facebook page after attempting to exonerate herself of any wrongdoing.
In since-deleted posts on her Facebook account, Roberts tells a friend she saw Shelton carry Kenneka out of the hotel room and leave her in the lobby.
Roberts said she went back in the room to retrieve Kenneka’s cell phone and when she returned to the hall, Kenneka was gone.
