NeNe Leakes

NeNe Leakes has apologized for a profanity-laced tirade that ended with her telling a female fan she hopes she’s raped by her Uber driver.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star lashed out at a fan during her stand-up comedy routine at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, California, on Saturday.

Leakes was upset because the audience booed during her stand-up comedy routine. Apparently the audience didn’t think much of her jokes.

Leakes targeted one audience member in particular.

“I ain’t even gonna tell you about the goddamn Uber driver. I hope he rape yo’ ass tonight when he take you home, bitch, and steal yo’ funky hello kitty, bitch,” she shouted over the boos from the audience.

The 49-year-old mother-of-two issued an apology on Facebook.com on Monday.

“I truly regret and apologize for what I said from the stage in Oakland over the weekend. Sometimes words can cut deep and hurt when you have no intentions of them doing so,” she wrote.

Leakes’ words were particularly offensive in light of the recent reports of Uber drivers raping their female passengers.
