The Georgia Bulldogs knocked off the Oklahoma Sooners in a thrilling 54-48 double-overtime win at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. on Monday.
Migos rapper Quavo Huncho, center, was in the house to congratulate the Bulldogs, who now face the daunting Alabama Crimson Tide for the mythical national championship.
It’s called the “mythical national championship” because there is no playoff system in NCAA college football, therefore the champion didn’t beat the best to advance to the title game.
Alabama defeated the Clemson Tigers 24-6 in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans on Monday. The Tide will face Georgia at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Monday, Jan. 8.
Both teams are from the SEC which guarantees a 9th national championship for the league.
Another rapper rooting for Georgia is serial bandwagon jumper Drake, left. posing with Justin Bieber‘s former bodyguard Kenny Hamilton, of Atlanta, after Georgia’s win in Pasadena.
Kenny captioned the pic: “When you and your brother connect a week before the national championship!! @champagnepapi @poppy #GoDawgs #Foldtide #weheadedtoAtlanta”.
