Mystery and confusion continues to surround Maybach Music mogul Rick Ross who some say was hospitalized last week for the celebrity affliction “dehydration and exhaustion”. A report by gossip tabloid TMZ, which claimed Ross was on “life support”, was widely disputed by his friends and family.
Ross, 42, reportedly experienced a seizure at his mother’s home in Davie, Florida, near Fort Lauderdale, on Friday. He was transported to a Miami hospital where his condition is unknown.
TV One, which aired a documentary about Ross on Sunday night, also claimed Ross was “on life support”.
On Saturday, Ross — or someone in his camp — uploaded a photo of Ross’ tricked out diamond watch and bracelets on his official Instagram account.
The photo was captioned “#FloridaBoy” — a nod to his rap single “Florida Boy” featuring Kodak Boy and T-Pain off Ross’ upcoming album, Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill.
One of Ross’ baby mamas, Tia Kemp, asked a judge to cancel a child support hearing that was scheduled for the same day Ross was hospitalized.
Kemp, who isn’t on the best terms with her baby daddy, took to social media to imply that he was faking his illness.
