An online retailer is selling the striking bodysuits worn by Beyonce’s backup dancers during the 2018 Coachella music festival on Saturday night. Beyonce struck a deal with Australian fashion company BlackMilk to sell the outfits worn by her dancers onstage.
The conservative outfits feature long sleeves and a high neckline. The clothing were inspired by King Tut and were created by designers at BlackMilk.
The 37-year-old mother of 3 hit the stage and delivered a powerhouse set, complete with a marching band and a brief Destiny’s Child reunion, but BeyHive members were buzzing about her colorful outfits — and how they can copy the stylish pieces for themselves.
The gold bodysuits, on sale for $100, will be available online from Tuesday, April 17,
In a statement, Sally Osburn, the CEO of the Australian brand expressed her excitement: “We honestly couldn’t be more excited to see Beyonce’s crew rocking BlackMilk. We are really proud to be a company built on a community of individual, creative, amazing women.”
She added: “It’s such an amazing opportunity for our team to see products they have lovingly created onstage at one of the world’s most celebrated music events, that is seen all around the world,” she added. “It really is unbelievable!”
Beyonce also announced a $100,000 donation for scholarships to historically black colleges.
