Police are investigating Daz Dillinger’s “Crip alert”, calling for Crips gang members to kill rap producer Kanye West for being a free-thinker who opposes the Democratic ideology.

The 40-year-old musician hired bodyguards and reportedly filed for an order of protection against the one-hit rapper who gained fame as part of Snoop Dogg’s rap posse.

Dillinger, who is a well-connected member of the Crips street gang, issued the “Crip Alert” in a video uploaded to Instagram.com after Kanye tweeted his support of President Donald Trump and conservative activist Candace Owens.

TMZ reportedly called the police to snitch ask if Dillinger’s video violated the law.

TMZ was surprised that the police were unaware of Dillinger’s video. But now police are reportedly looking into the video to see if there is a “prosecutable crime” to arrest Dillinger.

In a post on Instagram.com on Monday, Dillinger claimed his threat was protected by freedom of speech.

Dillinger is in for a rude awakening when the cops come knocking.
