Police are asking the public to help identify three people who assaulted two employees at a Silver Spring, Maryland beauty supply store. A brawl erupted when the wig thieves attempted to flee the store without paying.

Police released surveillance video that shows a man snatching a wig from a mannequin. A store employee locked the front door, blocking the thieves’ escape.

A brawl ensued when the wig thief maced an employee and kicked another employee. The two female accomplices managed to flee out the front door, but the employee locked it again, trapping the wig thief inside the store.

Eventually the wig thief managed to escape, but police hope the clear video images will help bring the wig thieves to justice.
