Pop icon Janet Jackson and rapper Daddy Yankee team up for Janet’s bilingual dance track “Made For Now”. The music video was filmed on location in New York City.
The video is filmed in segments that blend together in one seamless camera take, similar to Janet’s music video for her 1986 hit single “When I Think of You”, off her third studio album, Control.
The video features women, men and children dressed in vibrant clothing having a blast at a street party, while Janet weaves effortlessly around them.
“Made For Now” is Janet’s first track since 2016’s “Dammn Baby,” Featuring Daddy Yankee. The track will be featured on Janet’s as yet untitled forthcoming album off her new label Cinq Music.
Janet’s clothing is giving me Beyonce vibes.
Janet has done it again with the innovation,talent,sultry vocals,natural beauty,dance and unique style. This song is FIRE! Another Number One hit for her endless set record of catalog of hits in EVERY decade. I will FOREVER support her and lucky enough to have worked with her and she’s still just as humble.

I don’t think this was to recapture her black audience this was to get the mainstream audience back. And its working the song is Number 10 on billboard after 3days. The festivals weren’t for her black audience maybe essence was but the others were for the younger demo. And kudos to her team because she killed panorama had all those white kids singing along.
Both videos have beautiful African tributes. Janet wears the African Inspired Garb and remember Lionel Richie had the African music/dance segment in the video.

her recent pics she looks like her old self. I think she just had her makeup artists drawing on Asian face. but now that her daughter is getting older (and looking very much like a lighter version of the old Kim) she is adjusting how she presents herself.
She is slow and old. Tracking towards 60. She used a stool in San Diego and walked and sizzled slowly on her dance tracks. Good show but her dancing at 50 on stage played out.
