Bill Cosby

Bill Cosby’s psychiatrist, Dr. Timothy Foley, was among the witnesses to take the stand during Cosby’s 2 day sentencing hearing which began on Monday, Sept. 24.

Dr. Foley described Cosby as “feeble” in his declining years. The 81-year-old comedian was convicted of drugging and molesting former Temple University staffer Andrea Constand in his home in 2004.

Foley argued that Cosby is not likely to be a sex offender, after the prosecutor made his case to classify Cosby as a violent sex offender.

“He’s 81 years old, he’s been convicted of a sex offense, and after 70 it becomes virtually impossible to reoffend.”

Foley added: “He’s had no sexual conduct in approximately 15 years.”

But Steven T. O’Neill was not swayed by the doctor’s testimony. He officially declared Cosby a “violent sex offender” on Monday, according to The Blast.

Cosby faces a minimum sentence of 22 months in prison when he is sentenced Tuesday around 1:30 PM.
