T.I. Harris took to social media on Thursday to share his plan to get former President Barack Obama back into the White House — by riding on the coattails of former Vice President Joe Biden.
T.I. posted a meme showing Obama and Biden posing side-by-side in the Oval Office during happier times. The meme reads: “It is completely legal for Joe Biden to run as President … and have Obama as V.P. LET THAT SINK IN.”
While T.I.’s followers were encouraged by the message, fellow rapper Killer Mike disagreed with T.I.’s overly emotional message.
The 43-year-old Atlanta native, whose real name is Michael Santiago Render, pointed out that Obama did nothing for the people who voted him into office — twice.
“In my opinion this wud be promoting #Oligarchy & is totally the WRONG thing to do. This republic was not made to be ruled over by a select few. Especially one that wrote a crime bill that crippled our community & another who in spite of having 95% of the black vote did nothing that was overtly for the black community’s legacy”
Mike concluded, “we need new MORE PROGRESSIVE leadership or nothing at all. The old guard is over a new day is here.”
