Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is offering a new limited-time only menu item to celebrate the opening of the corporation’s 3000th restaurant franchise in the United States.
The new location, which opened in Elizabeth, New Jersey in August, is offering fried chicken wings dipped in 24K gold flake batter and champagne.
The golden boneless wings will be served as a side dish, and a biscuit for $5 while supplies last, according to USA Today.
The wings will are only available at 4 locations in America: New York City, New Orleans, Anaheim, CA, and the Elizabeth, NJ location.
“We wanted to share this celebration with our fans, so our chefs cooked up something extra special for them,” said Popeyes president Alex Santoro in a statement. “It’s a fun way for guests to celebrate this milestone right along with us,” he added.
