Rapper T.I.‘s 10th studio album, Dime Trap, is struggling to crack the Top 10 on the U.S. album sales charts.
Dime Trap, which dropped on Oct 5, currently sits at #13 on the chart, according to Hits Daily Double.
If the album’s current chart position holds, T.I. will fail to crack the Top 10 for the first time since the debut of his 2nd studio album, Trap Muzik, in 2004.
Maybe this is why T.I. was in a foul mood on Thursday when he threatened to “slap the f— out of fellow rapper and producer Kanye West for visiting President Trump in the White House on Thursday.
In a post on Instagram.com T.I. said, “This is the most repulsive, disgraceful, Embarrassing acts of desperation & auctioning off of one’s soul to gain power I’ve ever seen.”
T.I. revealed Kanye asked him to accompany him to the White House on Thursday, but T.I. declined.
“if [at any] time I would’ve been in there wit [sic] you and you behaved that spinelessly [sic] in my presence, I feel that I’d be compelled to slap de’Fuq outta you bro For the People!!! You ass kissing and boot licking on a whole new level & I refuse to associate myself with something so vile, weak, & inconsiderate to the effect this has on the greater good of ALL OUR PEOPLE!!!!”
T.I. said he regrets collaborating with Kanye on the debate track “Ye vs. the People,” in which T.I. assumed the voice of the People.
“At one time it was a pleasure to work alongside you… now, I’m ashamed to have ever been associated with you.”
T.I. implored his followers to ignore Kanye.
“Don’t follow this puppet. Because as long as I’ve lived I’ve learned that it benefits a man nothing at all to gain the world if to do so he must lose his soul. We just saw Mr. West’s Soul on auction.”
