Over the weekend, Fetty Wapp’s baby mama Alexis Skyy posted — then deleted — that her infant daughter, Alaiya, was born with hydrocephalus.
Hydrocephalus is an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid on the brain that can cause increased pressure inside the cranium (skull). Some babies require a shunt to drain the fluid from the babies, but others do not.
Alexis welcomed Alaiya on Jan. 4, 2018 — 3 months before her due date.
“This is what Alaiya was born with,” Alexis wrote on a medical graphic of hydrocephalus. “I pray daily and I ask God to heal her every day. My baby is REALLY A FIGHTER.”
The 24-year-old reality TV star is best known for her appearance on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood and for her relationship with the one-eyed, 27-year-old rapper. She is also known for her feud with Masika Kalysha.
Alexis quickly deleted the information from her social media when her followers began leaving nasty comments.
Before deleting her posts, Alexis mentioned something about “haters” and being “discouraged.”
Until now, fans were left to wonder why Alexis covered Alaiya’s head with caps.
