Tamron Hall fans are buzzing after she posed with former NBC colleague Al Roker in a photo posted on her Instagram account last week.
The photo sparked speculation that Hall and Roker were celebrating former NBC host Megyn Kelly’s termination. Fans also hoped the photo was a hint that Hall may return to NBC.
Hall, who is pictured above with Roker, left, and Natalie Morales, center, quit her anchor position and declined to accept a demotion when Kelly signed a $69 million contract in January. Roker accepted the demotion on the Today Show to make room for Kelly’s new daytime talk show The Kelly Files.
Kelly was terminated a few days after she commented about wearing blackface makeup for Halloween.
In the photo caption, Hall writes:
“Smiling ear to ear tonight after seeing @alroker light up the stage in @waitressmusical!! Bravo to the entire cast. What a show and yes Mr. Roker sings!!!!! True #icon. Blessed to know you, sir.”
