Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa are expecting another baby girl. Kobe, 40, and Vanessa, 36, share three daughters: Natalia, 15, Gianna, 12, and Bianka, 2. The retired NBA MVP made the announcement on his Instagram account on Wednesday.
He wrote:
“Vanessa and I are beyond excited to announce that we are expecting another #mambacita to go along with Natalia, Gianna, and Bianca #blessed #bryantbunch #daddysprincesses #love #2019.”
The former L.A. Laker retired in 2016 after a stellar 20 year career in the NBA.
Vanessa, a former cheerleader and model, met Kobe on the set of a music video for the rap group Tha Eastsidaz, featuring Snoop Dogg. The couple wed in 2001 after a brief courtship.
Their marriage hit a rough patch in 2003 after a resort hotel clerk accused the “Black Mamba” of sexually assaulting her. Bryant eventually settled a civil lawsuit filed by the accuser. The assault case was dropped in 2004.
In 2011, Vanessa filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” But the pair made up and the divorce action was withdrawn.
