Liam Payne and supermodel Naomi Campbell are apparently a romantic item. Liam, 25, and Naomi, 48, sparked rumors of a May-December romance after exchanging a series of flirty messages on Instagram, according to WENN.com.
Commenting on a steamy black-and-white photo of the former One Direction star, the 48-year-old supermodel wrote: “Beautiful Soul”
Liam quickly replied: “Takes one to know one,” with a kissy face emoji.
After Naomi shared a photo showing off her afro wig as she prepared for the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week, the “Strip That Down” singer wrote: “Perfection in a person… don’t give me those eyes.”
Sharp-eyed Instagram followers also noticed the couple liking each other’s Instagram posts since late December.
Liam and Naomi, who are both British, celebrated New Year in Ghana, with the supermodel sharing a video of the father-of-one learning traditional dances with actress Eku Edewor.
Naomi has a long history of failed relationships. She reportedly previously dated Quincy Jones, Prince Albert of Monaco, Mike Tyson and R&B crooner Usher, and was most recently linked to British grime star Skepta.
Naomi and Skepta posed half naked on the cover of British GQ last year, prompting rumors that they were dating. It was later reported that they broke up, most likely due to the 12-year difference in their ages.
Liam split from Cheryl, the mother of his one-year-old son Bear, in July after more than two years together.
