When asked if she worked out by lifting weights before trying on the heavy gown, Ms. Close joked, “No, and it’s probably going to kill me!” Everyone agreed that Ms. Close, who lost the Best Actress Oscar to Olivia Colman for The Favourite, stole the red carpet at the 91st annual Academy Awards on Sunday night.
