Rapper Rich the Kid was the apparent victim of a violent armed robbery outside a West Hollywood recording studio on Tuesday, according to TMZ.
Rich the Kid, whose real name is Dimitri Roger, posted an Instagram image that shows him holding stacks of cash and wearing expensive jewelry while standing next to a Lamborghini Urus.
The image was captioned “Always in bank mo deposit.”
Unfortunately, a criminal-minded thug recognized Westlake recording studio where Rich the Kid was flossing his cash.
The rapper was still outside the studio when an armed robber fired 10 shots and robbed him of his cash and jewelry.
R&B crooner Usher was reportedly inside the studio at the time of the shooting. At least one bodyguard was pistol whipped during the robbery.
There was a heavy police presence outside the studio on Tuesday, according to published reports.
The rapper was still wearing the same clothing he wore in a photo on his Instagram account that shows him flashing a fistful of cash. The only thing missing from news footage of Rich the Kid outside the studio was the stacks of cash.
